Scholarship Program

Supporting the next generation of Hellenic jurists in Québec.

One scholarship awarded annually by our Scholarship Selection Committee.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a Canadian citizen
Be of Greek origin or ancestry and be able to demonstrate it (birth certificate or equivalent)
Be enrolled full-time for the upcoming Fall academic year in an accredited Québec civil law program (including the University of Ottawa civil law or national program) after successfully completing the first year of the program, OR be enrolled at the École du Barreau du Québec, OR be enrolled in the master’s program in notarial law (Chambre des notaires du Québec)

Proof of enrollment and a copy of your most recent transcript
An essay (maximum 2 pages, double-spaced) describing your academic achievements, involvement in the Hellenic community, any financial difficulties that directly impact the completion of your studies and any other special circumstances that may warrant financial support from the HJAQ. You may include the names and contact information of one or two references.
